I will have to disagree with you.
Yes, i only need 3.5 mb, and not 20, for ppl to have good pings.
The problem is, everibody shares and downloads stuff on the lan at the same time.
That makes delays getting bigger while the switches are processing the downloads, and 50-60 ping is unaceptable at a lan that is, mostly, for playing.

They choke themselves, and the users playing the games.

Want to share/download? fine, but with our rules and with the speed we allow them to.
However, wise guys dont take this seriously, and ignore us making the lan barely reasonable for the ones who want to play.
I understand its funnier to have than new Pr0n in 2 minutes instead of 10, but we cannot provide gigabit switches, since our supporters dont borrow those.

Back on topic:
Anyone knows the software? I would hate to search each and every pc to check if they are sharing stuff once and a while...
