I used the CarFlex 1/2 inch, which I agree doesn't seem to correspond exactly to 'our' stuff. Still, 1/2 ID and 5/8 ID clear will fit on it. 1/2 in ID takes just a little stretching. Not too bad if prestretched with a pair of long handled needle nose (nose in) and handles pulled apart. I don't even bother with warming it.
