Why? Because while I am sleeving, cutting and routing the various cables and wires I can see exactly where they need to go without risking the health of my new expensive MOBO. Also helps to figure out where to cut a couple of small holes in the MOBO mounting tray to help with cooling (and mounting the waterblock). Can't short out the board with metal shavings either!
