I can't imagine 9 L1A's could be very loud at 5V. There's no way. They're only a bit over 20dba at 12V. At 5V they should be barely turning. Of course, both the L1A and 4412FGL are both stupidly expensive. 9 fans would run me about $150....

Yes I understand that every time you add a fan it increases by, what 1.5dba or something? It still won't be very loud at 5V.
