Hmm...just back from my vacation. It looks like jhuehne has begun working with the same problem that I have on my Snap 2000, and is having no success getting past this point.

jhuehne, you never stated whether or not you rebooted your unit after chaning the PlatformBytes to 1.1.0 and confirmed that this value sticks. Can you verify that?
