Alpha sinks such as carried by Frozen CPU & 1CoolPC cut into the individual finned rows and then attached to the housing would be one way to do this. Other way is to bend these or other sinks to the proper curved shape to make full contact with the pump housing being another. Bending to the proper contours would be easier with the sinks cut to strips as well.

Such gains for CPU & GPU will be small, but props to you for push'n the limits in everyway possible. I hope you post results & pics if you do this. I'll be interested in how many sinks you add & for what gains.

And your Iwaki pump with it's decoupled impeller and high pump case heat should be a top candidate for getting the most results for the effort involved.

I hope your pump is in a exterior rad/pump box, otherwise you will be dumping the released pump heat into the interior case air & then I don't see how you'd gain much of anything.
