Yeah, a few changes spring to mind. I'd go for a Winchester-core CPU. PC2700 RAM is certainly not what you want; Samsung TCCD-based PC3200 would be a whole lot better. For God's sake, make sure the HD has an 8MB or bigger cache. That one's NOT negotiable IMO. The vidcard you've selected is top of the line, but so is the pricetag. Depending how the rest of the system specs out, you might reconsider for that reason.

There are two CPU blocks worth primary consideration right now: Cathar's G4/Storm and the Swifty 6000/6002. GPU block will depend on card. Lots of pump info around here; Laing D4 (performance) and DDC (quiet) seem the hot picks lately. Get a case that will allow a big rad.
