i wonder how much quieter the jap motor is. Cause my american motor one isnt noisy at all. it just has this little hum. but since the thing is pretty big it does have this basier sound. but its still quieter than my fans at low voltages.

Well then I would think the mcp600 is fairly quiet then. Would you say that some fans at 7volt would drown out the noise from it. Or rather in your experience do they.
