thanks for that,

i have done a full reset on it ( 4 button presses incidently!) and now i get another combination of flashes which does not fit the manual at all .... system light once every second and disk light twice a second ,,, network intermittant (broadcasting presumably) and link light solid.

i have dropped misterbills image onto a second hdd and tried that but it is the same response from the snap

any one seen this before?
