Oh, I see. So you solder the whole top of the block and then heat the top piece up and drop it on and it melts together? Damn there goes another dollar to the block. Thats alot of solder. All I have is a propane tourch. I don't think it will get the block hot enough. I will experiemnt with some scrap. Can Aluminum be soldered like that? One would think I would know this being a certified welder.

I just havn't messed with Copper and Aluminum soldering before.
