Get the Acetal version of the maze4, not having alu in your loop is a good step.

If you're a noise freak, you'll hate the D4. Personally I'd go for a mcw6002, DCC pump, the maze4 with acetal top, DD/Swiftech Poly res, and two nexus fans on a BIPII. (but then, im noise obsessed) - cant get much easier, safer (no chance of cracking or corrosion, basically) or quieter than that, with good performance. Wont be as pretty though :P

Alphacool stuff is fine, but ive not heard many good things about their pump, so i'd look for something a bit better there personally (see NexXxos xp pressure head) as its A - underpowered and B - apparently quite loud.

Personally, I wouldnt put an acrylic/polycarb/insert-clear-plastic-here topped block near my rig, for fear of cracking.
