I also have an 1100 which has an 80 gig so I pulled the 80 and put it in the 1000 but still no joy. I tried a 40 gig and it see's it as a 28 gig and all works good. Does anyone have any idea's on how to git it to see the 120? When you put it in you can't ping or access at all. Could this be a bios problem? Has anyone been able to upgrade the bios? I have version 4.0.830 software on it, and the bios number is 2.1.363 . I have also put the 80 gig in as a slave to the original 10 gig and it came up as an 80 gig but then when I shut it down and reinstalled it as the master you couldn't access it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Get a copy of dolly to clone your 10gb drive. Clone it to a 100ata drive, avoid the Maxtor ata133 drives. Match the jumper settings on the original drive. Mine was set as Master, I've heard other set as Cable Select. Follow the instructions posted here to re-init the drive. It worked for me.
