I know some one who claims he got an 80gb Raptor, maybe you have one too? I know some people have sold real 40gb Raptors (from the 36 variety) online, maybe you got lucky. I know a few people who have no idea how to OC and have these same SATA issues, but it's with setting them up. A friend of mine tried many different drivers but wasn't able to get anywhere with installing the drives on his Asus AV8/A8V, so he took it to some shop and it took them a few hours to figure it out. I have an Abit IC7 Maxx3 and I had no problems with my 74gb Raptor and my 300gb Maxtor. The board detected them like anything else and windows installed w/out needing to install any drivers using the F3 thing, and since it seems that your board has no problems detecting them, it could be an 80
