If Hoot reported a 2.5C gain from fixing his cam issue, it might explain the only 50-80MHz gains that are common.
Did Hoot post dT for (with IHS) vs. (no IHS/fixed cam)?
I'd feel comfortable upping my Vcore with a decent temp drop...that might net a few dozen MHz.
