I haven't either, but I've never run non-distilled water or without some sort of anti-corrosion package, or with the water exposed to any kind of light.
It sounds like some of the folks who have had problems have been just as conservative, though - so maybe there's something
else I'm doing right...(?) and maybe it's just my "black thumb" in action - I don't generally have good luck with plants that I
want to grow...
