I don't want to be arguementive so excuse me, but if you trace out your connections you will see this one supernode will be the fastest thing on the network, but you will be limited by other nodes on your switch and you defently limited by your cable connection. By the way if GigE isn't fast enough for you, you hear Foundry Networks have already started shipping their 10 Gbps module boards for their BigIron 8000? Maybe that will satisfy your bandwidth problems

And I must change jobs, they only run Sun's and HP's where I work. Need to find some AIX lovers.
