Um. You cant solder aluminum. You have to use a special braze for aluminum...

I have some Aluminum rods, and some Alumite solder, but it still dosn't work the way I would like it to, not even close to epoxy. I did successfully solder the aluminum block on top(I had to mill it off) but I could not get the cover to bond. I thought some car radiators where aluminum and they where soldered together?
Oh well, dosn't matter now anyway. I am going to try the O ring setup. Being my job has screwed up my plans I have more time to experiment.
