I understand Brian and unregistered.

But what bothers me is there is NOTHING stopping me from starting a review site and simply making reviews up using pictures acquired off the net and just making up performance numbers and putting them in a graph. The worst part about that is I bet the numbers I make up are closer to reality than the numbers these fools collect in their so called tests.

Only thing keeping me from doing that is morals. I know a lot of people lacking in that department. I wonder how many sites out there just make shit up based on other reviews.

There should be some kind of accountability. Why buy $1,000 of testing equipment to do reviews when I could just make the shit up and get just as big an audience? That's the impression a lot of the sites get IMO because no one is capable of making them accountable. The companies that make the products don't want to and the readers can't be bother to learn anything.... When people like us call them on their bull shit they cry foul and make us look like we are in the wrong.

It is a sad situation.
