Bill, I bought the DD version of the normal res and was mildly dissapointed with it. I know that you made an improvement to the cap threads (drilled a hole). However, I had other issues that may be fixable as well.

1) What do you do about air trapped in the res? I have difficulty getting the res nearly full. As full as I can get it, air is trapped in the rear section. This results in a noisy system as water burbles with the trapped air. I can rotate the case to shake water out, but I was hoping that a res would be the solution to this problem, and not perpetuate it (i.e. be able to rotate just the res to get air out).

2) The tubing runs to/from the res need extra length so that you can pull the res out the front. This leads to extra bends in the internal tubing and lateral stress on the CPU mounting when you press the res back into the drive bay. Careful measurements for the tubing lengths make sure you don't get kinks, but you do need to closely monitor the lengths. Thoughts?
