well. i would say you are right, but you neglect to recall we have this thingie called the "net" which allows you to view images of things without actually having it in front of you!!
i managed in about 10 minutes of hunting, to find a board that the northbridge will fit, just by using the pics on the manufacturers website. i see no reason for them to have not done the same. other than laziness or ambivilance. R&D is the most expensive and time consuming part of any project....as well it should be. they skipped it, and now there will be a lot of folks who get screwed. i am curious as to exactly which gf3 they tested it on...considering that the 4 named before have easily 90% of the gf3 market. its obviously a part of the reference design, so why didn't they test on a reference board?
you excusing them is lame. them not testing better is lame. the block itself is cool
