The problem with pumps with shafts (which the MAG is
not) is that the seal is designed for low pressure (suction at the center, high pressure towards the circumference). If you run shafted pumps in series, the second pump's seal is now "backwards" as there's now pressure there.
Caveat: I've never seen a 750 "in person" and have definitely never dissected one to see the seal within - this is all from what I've read on the web - and the little bit I know about seals (was a bike mechanic a
very long time ago).
