Again, the Abit's read the CPU's on die temp sensor, they read higher than other boards but they are also closer to real than other boards. MadHacker, the real temps are NOT 10-12 degress lower than reported, they are actually hotter in the center of the core, the P4's have 2 on die temp sensors, one that is used for thermal throttling and shutdown which we can't access (more in center of core), and one off to the side of the core close to the surface which is the one we can read (AFAIK Abit and DFI are the only 2 that use this) and is likely 15C cooler than the thermal throttling zone.
