The exact temps reported from ABIT EQ shouldn´t be trusted, but the 8 degree difference between idle and load are a little bit more accurate (not absolutetly accurate, but better than the reported temps), and 8 degrees isn´t too shabby on a Prescott.
Did You check the temps with aircooling? If so, compare the idle/load diff on air and water.

I had it overclocked to 3.8Ghz for a while but then i got a bluescreen on boot up...
so i set it back to stock. havn't had the time to go through and overclock it again...
Sorry I never ran my CPU air cooled.... and since it is folding all the time it is never idle... so i don't know idle temperatures.
