This following is my profile on a programming site. It used to be a fun website to visit ion a regular basis, but the thought police have taken over, and I regularly get a verbal thrashing over it, and usually by the people that have joined over the last couple of years. I regularly hrangue .net and VB programmers, slam IE at every chance, and I attack absurdity with vengeful enthusiasm. The guy that runs the place suggested once that I change it, and I told him that wouldn't be happening.
I'm a barbarian, and I don't rightly care if anyone agrees with my politics. I am as polite as I can be to most folks, but if someone steps on their love sausage, I'm gonna point and laugh at them (and I would expect the same from them). I'm also the most self-deprecating person you'll ever meet.

John Simmons / Outlaw Programmer
I've been a programmer since 1982 with experience in Pascal, and C++ (both self-taught). I've been writing Windows programs since 1991 almost exclusively with Visual C++ and MFC.
My weakest point is that my moments of clarity are too brief to hold a meaningful conversation that requires more than 30 seconds to complete. Thankfully, grunts of agreement are all that is required to conduct most discussions without committing to any particular belief system.
Legal Disclaimer: I originally had a really long (and much funnier) disclaimer, but I grew tired of it. Here's the new one...
1) If I do or say something that irritates, annoys or pisses you off, so what? Do you think I really care or that it will somehow ruin my day?
2) If you're not an American, you're a "foreigner".
3) If you're a "foreigner" and you work for a company that is out-sourcing work that Americans used to do, you suck.
4) If you're an American that thinks out-sourcing is a good thing or doesn't hurt Americans, you suck, too.
5) I don't speak any language but english. If you can't or won't adapt to that fact, you can piss off for all I care.
6) I do not respond with a civil tone to unregistered CP users. (we have a real problme with unregistered users creating havoc in the forums).

I know it sounds a little gruff, but I really am a good guy when you get to know me. I merely have a low tolerance for absurdity.
