i've been thinking about buying a new pump. i sold my Swiftech 650, i still have my Eheim 1250, but i want to get rid of it b/c it's A/C powered. i want a pump that can have adjustable barbs. the 650 was stuck at 1/2" and i didn't like that. and i love quick connects now. i don't like reducers. so now i have 3 options. the new MAG, the AquaXtreme 50Z-DC12-T, and the DDC. the DDC is the only one w/o adjustable barbs, but i want the AlphaCool top. right now i REALLY want the AquaXtreme b/c it's got more power, the MAG comes up second purely b/c of price, and the 3rd is the DDC only b/c it's about as expensive as the AquaXtreme and i have to buy another top. any suggestions? i have a Swiftech 6000 block, a BIP II, and i want to add a chipset and GPU block as well.
