Did you actually write that? (Sorry - can't find the link). What do you mean by "much better"? If it's the ability of the waterblock to transfer heat from the CPU to water, then did you also test a Swiftech block in your rig keeping things as identical otherwise as possible? BTW,
which Swiftech block are you taking about?

It certainly is pretty. Of course, the question with round blocks is whether you optimize for heat transfer, putting the inlet directly above the CPU contact area or optimize for ease of mounting, allowing a clamp to push down directly over the CPU contact area (like the Innovatek Rev3 blocks). From your photos, I can't make out which way you went...
