Default what's wrong with my system?

I'm simply dumbfounded by this strange issue I am having with my system. I am running my AXIA t-bird 1gig @ 1.333ghz, and it runs around 107F full load which is actualy very close to the 1gig temp. This is perfectly fine for this processor speed. According to radiate, I am dissapating around 70 watts @ this setup. However, when I crank up the cpu speed even a little to say, 1.4gig, the system chokes, the radiator is spitting out super hot air and the processor idles around 105F. I mean, that's only like 3 watts more. This 120mm small rad from becooling can allegedly(so they tell me) handle 112 watts peltier on the cpu too, but I'm spitting out a measly 73 watts and I'm simply screwed? I even upgraded the pump to an inline configuration with an eheim 1048 from the rio180 in a tupperware bowl. The temps are exactly the same and the water is flowing much(nearly 2X the speed according to a flow meter) faster than that old pump. Is this radiator simply too weak? I am seriously considdering getting a big mama since I can fit it in the front of my case. But even when I crank up the speed on the fan to twice the speed(According to the RPM's) with my extra thick sunon 120mm fan the temps aren't affected much. Is this rad really crap? And can my 1048 handle big mama?
