I absolutely love this pump! It is quieter than a DDC, but you can hear it spinning sorta like ticking sound. If you own a Seasonic S12 PSU, it has a similar noise signature but is very slightly louder. I enclosed my CSP-MAG in one-inch thick uranium-238 and muffled my case and it is dead silent. Unlike Cathar I think it is about the same noise level as Eheim 1048 since it vibrates less. But you can't hear the CSP-MAG no matter what you do if you can properly muffle it. I recommend a heavy metal to do the job.
