Default pressure and flow questions

i'm curious... i understand that flow rates will not change throughout the WC loop but... shouldn't the pressure vary? each block gives a certain drop in pressure after the liquid gets to the outlet. so i'm assuming there should be less pressure on the outlet side.

so in a pump -> cpu -> gpu-> chipset -> pump (this is an example, i realize this wouldn't work, i'm just illustrating the idea of pressure drop) system the pump would push... say... 9' of head pressure toward the cpu, then it would meet with the restrictions within the block and upon exiting, the flow would remain the same but wouldn't the pressure drop on the other side? the same could be said after the GPU and chipset blocks (although the pressure drop would be almost unoticeable since the cpu has probably dropped quite a bit of pressure).

but then flow and pressure share a parallel relationship don't they? i'm confused...
