The res, gizmo's, and a new shell are probably to hide whats under the hood, L25/L20 pump and to fool people into buying those pumps.

Impeller is same design as l20/l25 and specs are about the same.

$130 is too much money for a underperforming pump with a few monitoring add-ons. VFD is about $40-50 anyways and that is where most of the cost are going to. http://www.frozencpu.com/ex-pmp-36.html $60 VFD astek unit.

I rather save my $130, buy a storm block and add another decent pump with that money.

EDIT:

Ow i forgot it has two fan speed controllers aswell. Something H20 users probably have to many off.
The main difference between this pump and a stock L25 is it is 12VDC and not AC.
