Oh - and there's the Innovatek HPPS (12VDC version of the 1046 built by Eheim but AFAIK only available through Innovatek).
No-head performance like a 1046, high head performance like a 1048 and even quieter than a 1046.
I have two, both in low-noise PCs. The one in my under-desktop PC has been running 24x7 for the last two years or so. The other one is similar age and I think it gets run 24x7. No problems with either one.
They're fairly expensive (about $100 when I got 'em - or about double the then-going-price for a 1046) but very quiet and so-far quite reliable.
I've been hoping the CSP-MAG (particularly the possible sapphire-on-sapphire bearing prototype Dave has mentioned as being very quiet) might be a replacement for this pump. Half the price, more high-head flow - if the low-noise and reliability is there it's a definite winner for the low-noise market.
Either way, if I was using a low noise pump and a high resistance radiator (which I believe you have) I'd use something like a Swiftech 6000, which performs quite well at the flows I'd expect.
