I just ordered a new Iwaki MD20 for my system but the pump I received had a cracked impeller housing so I contacted the store for a replacement. The reccomended that I replace the pump with the BlueLine equivalent of the MD20. Supposedly the pumps are designed and built by former Iwaki chief engineer. The pumps are much cheaper, have almost exactly the same specs and are said to be better built. Does anyone have some experience to confirm/disprove this?
