You should should have a welcome screen. The 2000 model snap can setup a harddrive with out any intervention. Set the drive as a master and sees what haapens. If you reset to factory you will need assist to access and set it up the first time.

I reset My Meridian Snap Server 2000 to the factory settings (assuming it is the same as resetting my Snap Server 1000) and still have the the disk light flashing four (4) times and then pausing to repeat indefinitely. Any Ideas? I would think that if the motherboard was fried the server would not recognize network connectivity.
