The light is flashing because there is no drive. You will have to use the assist program to set the snap up on the network. Go to poogles_uk site and download the assist program. It will search on the network for thesnap and do the initial setup. If you have an old drive install it. Make sure the fan is running. If if fails you will fry the system board.
