thanks for the reply. so far mine is working great with 3 drives in raid 5 and 4th as a spare. just finished loading all my files on it and still have space left

it would have been nice to get all 860gigs raid 5 volume, but i couldn't wait any longer. the way it was going, it would have been done in about 180 days (without turning the power off to it). and i didn't feel like paying $120 to adaptec tech support to ask them what to do. where did u get the server sync without the key? also if you don't me asking, how do u use ur 6 snaps? just curisous.
