to shim or not to shim THAT is the question.

Im selling of my old computer and starting all over again.... planning, modifying everything to fit my needs....

Chieftec DX-01B-D Dragon Super MidiTower Black
EPoX EP-8KHA+
AMD Athlon XP 1600+
Crucial Unbuffered Non-parity DDR 512mb (2*256mb)
ASUS V7100 Pro GeForce2 MX400 64Mb
LITE-ON LTR-24102B CD-RW 24x10x40x "Burn Proof"
Seagate Barracuda IV 40.0Gb 7200rpm

this will be the base of my new system. im keeping my h2o setup from my old rig and will modify it to fit in the new case. im going for the unmodified outside look i know only a mx card.... but im really not the gamer type of guy.... i would rather have brutish memory performance and cpu power for doing various thing that i like to put my computer through....

my question for you guys is this. are there chims for the xp processor ? i live in sweden and havent got the ability to pay over the web w/ creditcard and such. i know that shims are training wheels and bla bla bla.... but i would rather have my processor alive and be a total looser than beeing one of the [h]ard guys that really dont care about what happens to their system.

im asking this mainly because i like to put some extra pressure on my chips to have perfect contact with the wb...

maybe i can use the chim i have for my current athlon/duron ( ? )
would REALLY appreciate and answer from you guys .... cream of the crop h2o cooler dudes

regards
