Default Raid

The 2000 uses software raid, where the 2200 uses hardware. Major difference in performance.

UNIX has had software raid avaliable for years. The snaps use a modified XPS file systems. Most clone programs have problem with it, the reason for sugesting dd. You shoud check to see if you have full capacity of you drive. Since the clone software does not know the file structure used. If it does not, let me know and I will give you the debug command to correct it.

As for as large drives, generally a bios v2 or greater with v4.0.830 os will work. There is nothing wrong with v3.4.803 if you don't have a need for large drives.
