wow... were you using distilled water?

now the black coating was simply because of the purple ice. but that sucks about the copper build up.
hrmm... now im thinking again... is the black BAD or is it GOOD. is it an anticorrosion coating... or is it gonna kill a system

and how much copper buildup was there? i cant see any
