GIRLS USE SHIMS!!!

hehehe Kyle and lil Stevie at ocp get all upset when I say that. Even with shims those tech monkeys smoke anything thats given to them. So I dont think that its the shim or lack of a shim but the skill of the person mounting the block/HSF.

Learn how to mount a block or HSF the right way and dont worry about shims, they are training wheels for the kiddies. Might as well just get a MAC if you are going to use a shim.

Also the deal about taking hoses on and off... I have done that a number of times with no shim. You just need to BE CAREFUL. I have kept a 1.4Ghz Tbird alive for the past 6 or 7 months, and mounted stuff on it more than 100 times in different rigs. Its NOT HARD, you just cant be a goon when you work with the stuff.
