How important is noise to you? How important is simplicity?

The MCP655 is good for performance and a simple install (runs off of your PSU). The 1250, from what I've heard and read, runs quieter, doesn't perform much worse, though it is larger and you will need to install a relay kit so it turns on/off with your system.
