I thought my LAN was impressive... props to Joe!

Okay, my setup...

Cable modem internet connection that tests (according to DSLReports) at about 2000/350, when it should be more like 1000/256, feeding it's 10MBit signal to...

Netgear RT314 router/switch running static internal IP's. The four ports are connected to 10/100 NICs in...

1) My system: T-Bird 1.4GHz on Iwill KK266 with 512Mb ram, 30Gb IBM hard drive, Radeon 64DDR, DVD-Rom, CD-RW/DVD-Rom. OS is WinXP Pro

2) My (temporary) webserver: K6-III 400 at 448, 128Mb ram, 28Gb total hard drive space (4+4+20, all Seagate), Voodoo3-3000. OS is WinNT4 workstation running Apache 1.3.20

3) My wifes work system: P!!! 800, 192Mb ram, 10Gb hard drive, ATI Rage 128. OS is Win98SE

4) My sons system: Celeron 600 at >1GHz, ASUS CUSL2, 128Mb ram, 60Gb hard drive space, CD-RW, Nvidia TNT-something. OS is Win98

I am building a new server, based aroung a Duron 933 (yeah, I know Durons never came at that speed; this is a 750 with lowered multiplier to run on the higher FSB) on an as yet undecided mATX board in a book-style case, with a large hard drive. To hook this into the network, I've got a 5 port Netgear 10/100 switch. OS is undecided, but will either be Win2000 or Mandrake 8.1
