- Would spend ~2 hours to perform a modification that would likely result in a significant improvement in clock frequency and/or temperature.
Would you remove your CPU's Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS) (assuming it has one) if:
- The technique of doing so was well-documented and required only simple tools (eg. a hobby knife).
- You were guaranteed some improvement in OC/temp.
- There was a small risk dependent on your skill at permanently damaging the CPU.
