Shoutdown because off overburning
I was resambling my comp, and when putting all togheter again I forgot to
power my waterpump. So when I
started my PC I had no watercooling for CPU; GPU, VGA and HD. So I left my
PC and came back after 20 min.
It smelled burned. My screen was freezed, so I restared the PC and ran temp
CPU was preety low but case
temp was rather high. I pressume the CPU had power off.
I got it that I had forgotten to pin my pump. So I opened the case and
powerd it, started the PC and everything
ran good. For 15 min, then the PC screen went black. I did this 3 times, the
fourth time my PC didn't made a
start it went off at start making eight sound from bios twice the same sounds.
I thought now that something sirous had happend and that maybe I had burned
down my CPU. I waited for the
PC to get cool 2 hours but same result when starting the PC. Piping sound at
start and nothing you could do.
So I thought if I take off the VGA card I will see if the sound will come
up. They did. So I put the VGA card back
again in PCI and started.
Everything whent well, I made it to WinXP. So I thought now it was the VGA
that had the problem. But when
writing this same happend PC went black after 10 min.
I opened the case toke off the VGA card and saw that there was burning dirt
around the gold thing you put into
the PCI slots. I cleaned them good and here I am hoping the PC wont die on me.
I need assistant on this, am I on the right track that its a VGA problem?
