It just occured to me that these are the guys that made the first liquid cooling systems for Voodoo PC. Anyone remember them? This one is almost identical. I remember reading about it in CPU magazine about two years ago..... Voodoo had rights to the design, but they had decided to allow CoolIT to manufacture it for the public. They said that the target price was $150 and it would cool both the CPU and GPU.

Glad to see they have delivered....

Anyone else curious about the power consumption? If I remember, when they were used in the Voodoo, the sucker required a dedicated 12V line (that was about 2yrs back when PSUs with dual 12v rails were just coming out). The PSU that Voodoo used was a 600 W (ish) Enermax with each 12v line good for ~120w.



Perhaps their stated noise level is an honest mistake? Or, perhaps they are just hoping that the average Joe won't notice?...
