Am I the ONLY person who's never had a component die on them?
I overclock, I never follow static safty. Hell, I've even slid a hard drive 8' across a carpet! And it didn't have a problem. (I freaked out thinking I killed it imadiatly after I did it, but oh well :P)
I've fixed tons of computers with broken this and that, but never personally had ANYTHING die on me. *crosses fingers* Except for Windows of course
I've always had Abit boards, always had Sound Blast Sound cards, always had Sony based monitors (21" trinitron...yummy!), always had IBM hard drives... Other than that, I buy what's cheap. Like my 8x Nec DVD drive that I've had for 2 years. And my 12x8x32 Sony Burner that I've had for 2 years.
Until I
personally have a problem with a company, I'll stick with it.
