I've used all generic 256meg PC133, 128meg PC100 ram double sided with no problems with the Snap Server 2000, 4100.

What I have noticed is 512meg doesn't work, single or double sided.

Single side has problems, the Snap Server only see half of the ram and has problems booting up.

When the box reboots, I check the system logs to see how much memory has been released.
Is there any other way the check how much memory is in the unit? (config command)

The standard Snap Server 2000, 2200 come with 48-64meg, Snap Server 4100 comes with 64meg. The upgrade to 128meg had a 25% increases in performance. 256meg had very little increases.
Is there any testing software, to test the throughput via Snap Server network connection and the PC, I'm wonder if newer hard drive will make a difference in speed? (IOZone)
