Default Weirdest thing ever! (Eheim 1048A)

Well I started to receive all of my new Custom Parts for my watercooling rig so I opted to start taking apart the old watercooling setup when I found something REALLY weird inside my Eheim pump.

Now to give you guys a bit of info, I've been running this pump since 2004, and it's never been removed or the water in it changed... Water was still green and still the pump worked well and the system gave me good temps.

It was inside the water intake of the pump... PAPER!! Yes it seems it was some sort of tag from the store. It was jammed inside my pump and must have been there since I got it. So the pump NEVER FAILED and was being run hard.. I mean it must have worked HARD! This Definatly is an indicator of Eheim's Quality... my three previous pumps, before the Eheim 1048A, were VIA Aqua 1300's all of which failed.
