I've been wanting to setup a fanless PSU design for quite some time. Haven't had the time or funding to research on PSU heat so i came here to ask you guys (i just discovered this site tonite and the forum community has gotten me very excited... theres others like me out there! Willing to do crazy ass shit just for the fun of it (and gain some knowledge too!). anyway
for a typical home entertainment workstation.. using a VIA C3 (latest speed) with average accessories (DVD, decent video, etc.) what PSU wattage rating would you recommend without goign overboard and how hot on average does that PSU get? (i know it varies from company to company... im just looking for very general numbers cuase im bored and have nothing to test out right now. want to prebuffer my mind with ideas so whent he time comes, I'll be loaded with ideas to throw at my objective... a DEAD silient PSU
