OK, I returned the WS 250 and got a 300 MB Seagate.
Still failed. Will not install past 35% now.

It seems like there is a hard level set and when it hits that is just stops formatting.

There is a 40 gig Seagate drive also installed and it works fine.

Now what ? = )
