Looking forward to it.

I'm learning about refrigeration through an R134A conversion on my car. Then I'll go put something together for a PC, then onto either a chiller or environmental chamber, if I don't buy one first.


In the case of the conversion, I found out that I have the option of replacing the control valve on the compressor, to accomodate the higher pressure of R-134A. Not sure what option you have on a Coke machine.

On my car, there is what's called a TXV (Thermal Expansion) valve, that incorporates the capillary tube and a flowback preventer system, to prevent liquid refrigerant from going back into the compressor (bad). There's also a drier, after the condensor, to filter out the refrigerant?!?
